We are often approached by aspiring writers looking to turn their stories into a fully-fledged book. Self-publishing is the new way forward!
Like many of the projects we undertake, the process begins with a meeting with the client to discuss their aims, expectations and of course, how the finished product will look!
With both projects featured opposite, the inner pages were typed up and proof-read themselves, and we were able to step in to provide hard copy proofs for checking, and the design and development of the cover and spine. Once the inners were signed off and the design of the covers were approved, we were able to proceed with the next stage.
The production of self-published books is simple and can be very cost-effective if you are only looking for a short run. The inners are run onto a high quality 100gsm uncoated paper, trimmed to size and perfect bound with the cover.
We can also provide a range of cover options - from a simple 350gsm silk cover, to matt lamination, gloss lamination, and even foil!
