PACKAGING FILES

MAKE SURE NOTHING GETS MISSED

We're happy to receive InDesign files, however these must be packaged up before sending and opening up on a different computer. Sending just the InDesign file without the fonts and images will mean all of your hard work will change dramatically - and not for the best!

STEP TWO

Any contact details and special instructions can be filled in here, however it's not a necessity.

However, by filling out the instructions, this file stays with your InDesign files and can ensure that we have every last bit of information as possible for you.

PACKAGING INDESIGN FILES

Packaging - Step One

STEP ONE

Open the file and go to File > Package to start the process. It will bring you a window like this, where you need to check there is nothing missing (ie, a font or an image).

You don't need to pay too much attention to the rest, so click on Package!

Packaging - Step Two
Packaging - Step Three

STEP THREE

Save the Package folder to your computer (we recommend the Desktop!) and let InDesign do the rest.

Right click on the folder to compress it into a zip file, and that's the file you will need to send to us!

All packaged and ready?

Locate the file on your computer > right click > compress "folder name"

Then send us that zip file!
